Well, Swe-den-den is-a nice and sunny,
Swedes are OK and Norwegians are funny.
I sleep in a crowded tent, the camp is a sleepless event
I never imagined , I was going to a scout camp
my mattress is thin and all my clothes are quite damp
I forgot to bring a cup and I have trouble with putting my tent up.

But I have paid some scouts to fix my tent
'cause in the night its cold.

And every time I ask the camp team "Why do people wanna sleep under open sky?"
They answer with a smile. "Because we are scout, scout, scout, scout"
It's true that I'm a young good templar boy
That's a mark I'll wear with joy, but being a scout is something I can't enjoy, enjoy.

But I have paid some scouts to fix my tent
'cause in the night its cold.

I'm just using things the scouts have brought,
my tent, my clothes are yours.

I miss my mommy, my bed and a shower but getting back home will take more than an hour.
I'm lost in the countryside, I could get home if I tried
But the scouts all seem to be all right with that fact
they knew what they were going to before they even had packed,
I din't have a clue, but luckily I know what to do.

I thought that I was going to a scout camp
I brought my spork and my portable head lamp
I even brought my cup, while my tent rose it self up

Then some Active folks came by
And said: "Har di noen kastruller med?"

They sleep inside they abuse the showers
They fan their hair and
they smell like flowers
Didn't you get the note,
on scout camps you smell like a goat

Cause I have had one shower, it sucked as hell
cause when I'm clean camp smells

Active folks are using all my things
My tent, my clothes, what more?

I don't miss my mom, my dad or my brother
They are already here, in one way or another
Didn't you catch the news, my home is where I put my shoes.
Even though you're using all of my things, I don't realy care as long as it brings
friendship to us all now listen to our call
